IMS Proschool Pvt. Ltd.
Thane-headquartered institute teaching CFP® in the classroom, live online and in hybrid batches across centres in more than ten cities.
Delhi NCR has never been short of wealth; it has been short of counsel. A trading family in Old Delhi, a director in one of Gurugram’s glass towers and a founder raising capital in Noida tend to share one habit: their savings are assembled a product at a time — a policy bought from a relative, a fund chosen on a colleague’s tip, a plot booked because the neighbours did. Each decision may be sensible on its own. Taken together, they rarely amount to a plan.
This is where financial planning earns its place as a profession, and where Delhi NCR offers unusual depth. The capital houses the pension regulator, PFRDA, and SEBI’s Northern Regional Office. Gurugram has become home to insurers, digital investment platforms and family offices; Noida to one of India’s best-known fintech companies; and every major bank and wealth manager keeps advisory teams across the region. What the market lacks is not institutions but advisers trained to treat investments, tax, insurance, retirement and estate as a single problem — precisely the discipline the CFP® certification examines.
The certified financial planner institutes in Delhi listed below include classroom centres in Connaught Place, Laxmi Nagar, Pitampura and Okhla Phase II, Delhi-based providers who teach online, and further centres in Gurugram and Noida. Most are built around working professionals, so weekend CFP classes in Delhi are the norm rather than the exception.

In Delhi NCR the demand for planners comes from many directions: banks and private wealth firms serving established business families, multi-family offices advising the very wealthy, and insurers and investment platforms that need people who can explain a plan, not just a product. The firms below hire for roles where a CFP® certification adds real weight to your profile.

IMS Proschool, edZeb, ICOFP, IIFC, Planyourworld and The Wall Street School all have a centre or base in Delhi NCR. IMS Proschool, edZeb and ICOFP teach in the classroom; IIFC, Planyourworld and The Wall Street School are based in Delhi and teach online. You can also join live online batches from institutes based elsewhere in India — the syllabus and the FPSB India exams are the same.
There is no single best institute — the right one is the one you will keep attending for a year. Start with three checks. Location: for classroom study, choose a centre you can reach after work — Connaught Place, Laxmi Nagar, Netaji Subhash Place or Okhla Phase II in Delhi, Sector 14 in Gurugram or Sector 62 in Noida. Schedule: most Delhi institutes run weekend batches, and edZeb, ICOFP, IIFC and The Wall Street School also offer weekday batches. Fit: compare fees and faculty, ask exactly what the fee covers, and sit in on a demo class before you pay.
Yes. IMS Proschool lists CFP® classes at its Gurugram centre (M-33, Old DLF Colony, Sector 14) and its Noida centre (C-56/28, Sector 62), as well as Connaught Place and Netaji Subhash Place in Delhi. IMS says most of its CFP® lectures run online at weekends, so ask the centre which sessions are held in the classroom before you enrol. From Faridabad, Ghaziabad or Greater Noida, a live online batch is usually the more practical choice.
Yes. Most institutes run live online CFP® classes that you can join from Delhi, Gurugram or Noida. Among Delhi-based providers, IIFC, Planyourworld and The Wall Street School teach online, and ICOFP teaches online as well as in its Okhla Phase II classroom. Online batches follow the same syllabus and lead to the same FPSB India exams as classroom ones.
Neither is better on paper — both lead to the same exams and the same certification — so pick the format you will stick with. A classroom works if you learn best face to face and a centre sits on your daily route. Online works if your commute already takes up your evenings, you travel for work, or you want recordings to revise from. IMS Proschool offers classroom, online and hybrid options, so you can mix the two.
Yes. Every Delhi institute runs weekend batches, and edZeb, ICOFP, IIFC and The Wall Street School also run weekday batches. IMS Proschool starts new batches every 30 days, with lectures of about three hours. Start dates move through the year, so confirm the next batch and its timings before you pay.
FPSB India’s fees are the same in every city: ₹1,20,500 + GST on the Regular pathway and ₹84,000 + GST on the Fast Track pathway. The institute’s training fee is paid separately. In Delhi, IIFC, Planyourworld and The Wall Street School charge ₹60,000 for the Regular pathway and ₹50,000 for Fast Track. edZeb lists ₹60,000 (Regular) and ₹35,000 (Fast Track) for live classes, or ₹45,000 and ₹27,000 for pre-recorded lessons. IMS Proschool lists ₹60,000 (Regular) and ₹40,000 (Fast Track), and ICOFP ₹60,000 (Regular) or ₹45,000 (Fast Track) with books and two years of LMS access, plus pre-recorded e-learning for the Regular pathway at ₹45,000. Ask each institute what its fee includes before you pay.
Most CFP® institutes in Delhi charge about ₹60,000 in training fees for the Regular pathway and ₹35,000–₹50,000 for Fast Track. FPSB India’s own fees come on top and are the same everywhere: ₹1,20,500 + GST (Regular) or ₹84,000 + GST (Fast Track). That puts the all-in cost at roughly ₹1.8 lakh on the Regular pathway and ₹1.19–1.34 lakh on Fast Track, plus GST on FPSB India’s fees.
In Delhi, IMS Proschool teaches CFP® classes at Tolstoy House in Connaught Place, near Janpath Metro, and at Aggrawal Corporate Heights in Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, near the Netaji Subhash Place Metro station. edZeb has centres in H Block, Connaught Place, close to Rajiv Chowk Metro, and at Surana Bhawan in Laxmi Nagar, by Gate 1 of Laxmi Nagar Metro. ICOFP teaches at E-47/12, Okhla Phase II, about 700 metres from Govindpuri Metro. In the wider NCR, IMS Proschool also has centres in Sector 14, Gurugram and Sector 62, Noida.
It depends on your pathway and on how many hours a week you can give it. On the Regular pathway you pass three specialist courses — Investment Planning, Retirement and Tax Planning, and Risk and Estate Planning — then complete Integrated Financial Planning, a Financial Plan Assessment and the final CFP® exam. FPSB India gives you three years from enrolment, and many working learners aim to finish within one to two. On Fast Track you skip the three specialist exams and must sit the CFP® exam within six months of paying the bundled exam fee, so a few focused months is enough.
Fast Track is for people who already have a strong finance base. You need an approved qualification — CA (ICAI), CFA, CPA (USA), CMA (USA or India), CS, ACCA, Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India, CAIIB with a degree, a postgraduate degree in Economics, Commerce or Finance, or a full-time MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing, Financial Services or Operations — plus at least three years of financial-planning-related work at a bank, NBFC, fund house, insurer, broker, portfolio manager or similar firm. FPSB India also opens Fast Track to SEBI Registered Investment Advisers licensed before June 2025, CFP® professionals from other FPSB affiliates, and anyone whose CFP® certification lapsed, or who passed the CFP® exam, five or more years ago. FPSB India checks your documents before it approves you.
No. FPSB India allows self-study, so you can prepare on your own. If you want instructor-led classes, they must be with an institute approved by FPSB India, and every institute on this page is. Self-study suits disciplined learners with a finance background: FPSB India expects 70% on its course tests and moves self-study students to instructor-led education after two failed attempts.
Wherever suits you. Every FPSB India exam can be taken online from home under remote proctoring, or in person at a DEXiT (formerly NSEIT) test centre that you choose when you book. Each specialist exam lasts two hours, with 75 multiple-choice questions and no negative marking, and you must have been registered with FPSB India for 30 days before you sit one. The final CFP® exam lasts three hours, with 25 standalone questions and 25 based on a case study. It runs five times a year — in February, April, June, August and October — usually on a Monday between the 19th and 24th. You book the exam on FPSB India’s student portal between the 1st and 5th of every alternate month. The Financial Plan Assessment is a separate case study: a cycle opens on the 10th of every alternate month (January, March, May and so on), and you submit your financial plan between the 8th and 10th of the following month. You have six months from paying the bundled exam fee to complete both, in either order.
There is no fixed number: pay depends on the role, the employer and how much of it is linked to incentives. What Delhi NCR offers is depth of demand: business families, senior professionals and founders across the region need planning, and banks, private wealth firms and multi-family offices compete to serve them. Most people start as relationship managers or para-planners on a fixed salary plus incentives, then move into wealth management or private banking, where the assets you look after drive your earnings. Our CFP® careers & salaries guide has indicative ranges by role.
